How the Program Works
The “A Dozen Does It” program begins January 1, 2010 and continues until December 3, 2010.
Family Motor Coach Association is encouraging all chapters and members to recruit a new member during 2010. The first five new members to join (as a referral from GMC Eastern States) will receive one year of membership at no cost and have the initiation fee waived. That’s a $45 value. (Contact the Eastern States president to receive a special coupon for membership at no charge.)
Procedural Matters
Potential members should complete a membership application and designate an Eastern States member in the “Recommended By” area of the application. Click here to download a PDF version of the FMCA application. Print page four and fill in the information requested. Send the completed application to the address provided on the form. Payment to FMCA may be made by check of credit card.
Please keep in mind that there are separate applications for membership in FMCA and Eastern States. Also, the FMCA membership application accessed via the link above states "GME-GMC Easter States" so FMCA may appropriately link your membership to GMCES.
Once the new membership is processed, the referring member will receive a $10 recruitment coupon as well as a postcard to be given to the ES chapter president so the chapter can get credit toward a Chapter Prize Package.
The Reward for GMCES
Once GMC Easters States reaches the "A Dozen Does It" goal of 12 new member families, the chapter will receive a Chapter Prize Package filled with gifts that can be used as giveaways at future rallies. That’s an average of only one member per month!
The Reward for Current ES Members
For each new member who joins, the recruiter will receive a coupon worth $10 that can be used toward the payment of his/her FMCA dues, or toward the purchase of FMCA or Camping World merchandise.
Why Join?
If you're a motorhome owner, here are seven quick reasons you should join FMCA.
1. Family
FMCA is a social organization. In fact, perhaps the greatest member benefit is the fun and camaraderie shared by people who enjoy the common interest of motorhome travel.
2. Benefits
• A monthly magazine featuring motorhome reviews, technical information and travel articles — a $30 value free with membership
• An emergency medical air and ground evacuation program — a $100 value free with membership
• A special rate on a roadside assistance plan
• More than 40 additional benefits that enhance the motorhome lifestyle
3. Information
Members look to the association as their source of information about all facets of motorhome ownership and travel. Family Motor Coaching magazine, the association’s official monthly publication, leads the way in covering the motorhome lifestyle.
4. Savings
FMCA offers programs that entitle members to:
• Discounted motorhome insurance
• Low rates and longer terms for motorhome financing
• Fuel discounts
• Campground discounts

In addition, many of FMCA's commercial members offer discounts on their products and services to family members who present their FMCA membership cards.
5. Peace of Mind
FMCA wants motorhome owners to enjoy their journeys, as well as their destinations, with as few worries as possible. That’s why we offer:
• Low-cost travel medical insurance when traveling outside the United States
• A discount on home security monitoring systems
• A mail forwarding service that alleviates travelers’ concerns about where to receive mail
• The MEDEX Plus emergency medical assistance program to manage the complexities and expenses associated with emergencies that occur away from home
6. Conventions and Rallies
Members have the opportunity to attend two international conventions per year that showcase motorhomes and related products.
7. Chapters
FMCA has more than 500 active chapters, or subgroups, throughout North America, which hold rallies throughout the year. These gatherings, open to all motorhomers, give members the chance to get together more often and at locales nearer their homes.
